Bonding day

Today was insanely fun. I got to bond with my school and everyone is seriously sooo amazing. I feel like I love them all already. Today we broke up in smaller teams and had a scavenger hunt around Kona. It was such a beautiful day and the water was so clear. We had to do stuff like buy bananas and take a picture eating them, and find a boat and take a picture in it, find a local to teach us how to hula dance and take a picture with them. But my favorite was finding a city worker and praying over them. It was simply amazing to just go up and ask a random street sweeper if we could pray for him. I just marched right up to him (courage clearly given from God) and asked him if we could pray for him and if he had any prayer requests. I think he was a little shocked about it and couldn't think of anything to pray about but Renae stepped up and planted some ideas in his head like prayers for his family, work etc. His English was broken but he said we could pray about his family and his job and so Renae stepped up and said the prayer. It was amazing. There's something so cool about standing in the middle of the street praying for a stranger. Prayer is the best unity. After we were done praying with him we took a picture with him and you could just see his demeanor had changed and was way more positive. It was honestly the highlight of my day. We went down to the pier and the beach and continued on with our scavenger hunt... btw I must say I was the champion of the human bingo game we played. NBD but if you chose to support me...just know you're supporting a winner ;)
Anyways..getting back on track after the scavenger hunt we got to have some relaxing time before we were to get ready for a BBQ and sunset watching at the beach with our group. It was so cool to just sit around and further develop my relationships with these people and hear their stories and how they ended up at this place. The sunset was simply beautiful...this experience is just amazing already and I'm only 3 days in! It's crazy.
Tomorrow is a relaxing day..Sunday day of rest finally!
<3 Thank you for your prayers!
The picture above is with the man we prayed for, and below the sunset :)
